Smile Make Over
If you are embarrassed about your teeth and don’t like to smile, a smile makeover could be for you.
Imagine being complimented on your beautiful smile every day…
Here's how we do it:
1. Firstly we will listen to what you concerns are and what you envisage needs to be done to improve your smile. Often simple improvements will make the difference.
2. Next we can probably show you what your teeth could look like by doing a mock up in your mouth; very quick and only temporary.
3. A wax up of how your new smile would look is then done. This lets you see the end result before you start.

This was amonst the most challenging cases to get right and deliver the WOW factor.
Katy had had quite a bit of dentistry but wanted to see how her smile could be improved. Her teeth stuck out, her old veneers looked too opaque and some old teeth had tipped forwards. She had an extra tooth on one side, distorting the shape of the upper teeth.
A combination of an extraction with fixed orthodontics and invisalign was done to get the teeth aligned and in the right place. Then all the top teeth were veneered using the latest high aesthetic porcelain.
This approach gave Katy a fantastic, natural looking smile that gets complimented every day.
On meeting Elliott, I gave him my brief - "A natural-looking, perfect smile but one which doesn't make me look like Simon Cowell!"
Elliott listened, understood and delivered my requirements perfectly. He really took the time to get to know me and what I wanted to achieve, he talked me through each stage of the process and delivered within the exact time frame. I was particularly keen to ensure the colour/texture of the veneers would be natural and Elliott introduced me to the technician and ensured he was a part of the process from day one - this was hugely reassuring.
I knew the process would be long and would require a huge leap of faith on my part but at all times, I felt Elliott and the BRDS staff could not have been more professional and caring - I felt completely relaxed and confident in their abilities and I couldn't be any more thrilled with the results. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Finally, I have the smile I have always wanted and not a hint of Simon Cowell...... Katy ![]()

Mat Lowis did a great job of recommending and performing rehabilitation work that not only improved the look and feel of my teeth but also eased bite pressure resulting from a lifetime of teeth grinding. He was able to do this through improvements to the existing teeth using porcelain overlays and replacing old metal fillings with white composite. This restored my teeth to their natural size and shape and improved my bite to minimise future grinding and erosion. The work was done according to a predefined and agreed plan, and at a steady pace to ensure I was able to adapt to the change in my bite. I am delighted with the outcome and impressed by the holistic approach to restoration and prevention rather than the more traditional 'patch up' approach of other dental professionals that I had experienced in the past. ![]()
Porcelain Veneers
If your front teeth are stained, chipped, or malaligned, veneers will give you a good life-like appearance with minimum tooth adjustment.
A veneer is a porcelain facing on the front of your teeth usually your top teeth, it is just like a false finger nail.
Porcelain veneers can improve the colour, shape and position of teeth.
A precise shade of porcelain can be chosen to give the right colour to improve a single discoloured or stained tooth or to lighten front teeth (usually the upper ones) generally.
Veneers are made out of porcelain and are used mainly for aesthetic reasons.
Veneers make teeth look natural and healthy, and because they are very thin and are held in place by a special strong bond (rather like super-glue) very little preparation of the tooth is needed.
Veneers can also be used to close small gaps, when orthodontics (braces) are not suitable.
If one tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can sometimes be fitted to bring it into line with the others.
