There are essentially four ways that work to whiten teeth. Day and night whitening with custom trays, in surgery fast power/laser and a combination of these. Most dentists recommend a combined approach as this gives whiter results in the shortest time. Most patients with trays alone do not complete the 20-30 night course required; and power whitening alone can be disappointing. The custom trays with gel significantly enhances the effect in just a few days and are required for top ups anyway.
Almost everybody would like and benefit from a whiter, younger looking smile. This gentle, low cost treatment will give you back a natural whiteness that has been lost over the years.

Our long term whitening program to both get your teeth whiter and then keep them whiter. Home Whitening with custom fitted trays and with whitening gels. Trays are worn daily for 2 hours or overnight for about 20 sessions. Additional whitening gel for top ups is given free with every hygienist appointment.

Professional Home Whitening
Step by Step Instructions
- Place a small amount (equal to a match head) of whitening gel in the front part of the tray. Repeat for each tooth.
- Insert tray into mouth, wiping any excess gel away. (=Too much)
- Wear for four hours, but ideally overnight.
- Remove tray in the morning and clean teeth as usual.
- Repeat daily or every other day for 15-20 times until happy with the colour or it has reached its maximum whiteness. (usually after 3 syringes)
- Keep any unused gel in the fridge ready for topping up as required.
NB Avoid strong coloured food and drink whilst whitening teeth. i.e. tea, coffee, curry etc...
